Head-quartered at Bangalore, UBI's was formed by three first generation entrepreneurs coming together from a diverse background. Collectively we bring about 60 man-years of experience in our fields of specialisation. After a successful stint in the field of pineapple cultivation, we identified a need for setting up a modern fruit processing plant to support helpless farmers in the vicinity, who are at the mercy of cruel market price fluctuation to sell their produce.

UBI's Cannery has few hundred acres of high fertile farm lands where pineapple is being cultivated within 30km radius from the plant. We employ advanced farming techniques coupled with the automated irrigation and fertigation techniques to improve the yields. A good sum of R&D budget is devoted to achieve innovations in the cultivation fields to reduce the cost of the raw material.

UBI's has also entered into contract farming agreements with many small farmers to achieve dual purpose of ensuring sufficient supply of raw material to the factory and to assure guaranteed price to the farmers for their produce.

With a control over supply of raw fruits from high yielding farm land and the advance farming techniques, the unit is self sufficient in terms of raw material requirements
